QB, la lampada, usa l’arco in metallo, la “firma” pensata come elemento strutturale per questa serie di oggetti e mobili. Gli archetti di metallo, verniciati in nero, raggiungono i 200 cm di altezza, pur mantenendo un effetto di leggerezza e slancio verso l’alto grazie all’utilizzo di profili di metallo sottili. Agli archi sono fissati tre cubi di acciaio da 15cm, verniciati al naturale, o alternativamente disponibili anche in acciaio Corten. La luce viene riflessa verso l’alto, dal cubo inferiore, e verso il basso dal cubo superiore e produce particolari fasci di luce e ombre rettangolari. È perfetta tanto per creare un ambiente rilassante, con una luce non particolarmente intensa, ma con una lounge chair in fianco, anche per la lettura.
QB, the lamp, uses the metal arch, the “signature” designed as the structural element for this series of objects and furniture. The metal arches, painted black, reach a height of 200 cm, while maintaining an effect of lightness and upward momentum thanks to the use of thin metal profiles. Three 15cm steel cubes, painted natural, or alternatively also available in Corten steel, are fixed to the arches. Light is reflected upwards from the lower cube and downwards from the upper cube, producing distinctive rectangular beams of light and shadows. It works just as well for creating a relaxing environment, with a light that is not particularly intense, but with a lounge chair on the side, it is also perfect for reading.
